With over a decade of dedicated service at Reeds Cove, I have cultivated a rich career in rehabilitation, beginning as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and progressing to my current role as the Director of Rehab. My journey here has allowed me to serve patients in various capacities. My favorite memory while being at Reeds Cove is the lasting relationships I have built among all the therapy and nursing staff who have come and gone. We just pick up where we left off like no time has passed by.I hold two Bachelor's degrees from Wichita State University in Psychology and Exercise Science, with a special interest in Gerontology, and I completed my Occupational Therapy Assistant training at Newman University. My professional specializations include wheelchair seating and positioning, upper extremity splinting, Lymphedema management, geriatric and dementia care.
Outside of work, I embrace an active lifestyle with my three children—one high schooler and two grade schoolers. We love spending time outdoors, engaging in activities that keep us moving and connected to nature.
What I cherish most about my role at Reeds Cove is the opportunity to build lasting relationships with my patients, whether their stay is short or long-term. I am passionate about thinking outside the box to enhance their health journeys, helping them achieve their highest level of function and well-being.
I look forward to continuing to make a positive impact in the lives of those we serve!
